Designer and artist, Najma Temsoury has always been fascinated by the creation and the interior design field. Following her studies she started her own studio called "NAJ studio".
The light and the perception have a major importance in her work. « what I like is to use perception to have my objects static yet in movement ». This is indeed what we see in the vase "NARCISSE" designed for Maison Dada.
« I've always been fascinated by flowers, and trust we must look at them from the bottom to the head carefully, flowers once they are put into a bouquet can hide some interesting details. That way I wanted to create an object to highlight those details. Using the optical lens, the colors, the forms and the details of the flowers can be revealed, while creating a visual movement. The lens is at the level of the flowers, fixed on a base and in a rather simple shape so that we can concentrate on the optical effect ».
